Cambering with the New Razor Trikke E2

As the newest member of the Trikke and Razor family, the Razor Trikke E2 Motorized Scooter is the perfect hybrid of Trikke and Razor.

Trikke "scooters" are 3 wheeled, clambering vehicles. Not at all like a traditional scooter, it is made for carving, twisting and turning. Designed with two foot platforms, the cambering motion mimics skiing action. The Trikke is propelled by using your body to twist and turn the scooter.

Unlike a regular Trikke, the E2 is motorized like the rest of the Razor line with a 24 Volt SLA rechargeable battery system. The high torque chain driven motor lasts for about 40 minutes of continuous use at a top speed of 10 mph. The super quite chain motor is controlled by a twist-grip throttle.

Whether you plan on using riding through the park or the neighborhood, the Razor Trikke E2 is perfect for any 8+ year old.

Resistance Bands & Tubes for Therapy, Weight Training and Convenience

Resistance bands and tubes are only for rehabilitation therapy and "light" training, a big misconception among the general public. Bands and tubes can be used in a variety of ways as well as a variety of intensities.

Resistance bands will strengthen and elongate muscles, whereas regular free weights and machines just build muscles. Bands stimulate and work the muscles in ways only constant tension can provide. They make you work harder by forcing you to concentrate on your form, from the concentric to the eccentric (from the lift to the drop).

There is full-range of motion with resistance bands and tubes that free weights and machines can not compare to. This in turn will increase flexibility.

Not to mention, resistance bands are a lot more convenient. They can fit in small places, like suitcases and in drawers. They are light, easy to travel with. And depending on the brand, adjustable. No matter what brand, they are all affordable and a whole lot easier than lugging around a bunch of free weights.

They come in lots of lengths, shapes, intensities and brands. From Cando and Jump Stretch to Thera-Band. Whether you're looking to add some variety in your workout routine or begin a regimen, resistance bands and tubes are a great addition.

Increase Lung Capacity to Intensify Your Training

By increasing your lung capacity, you can take your training to the next level. The Bas Rutten O2 Trainer is designed to help you learn how to breathe, correctly.

The O2 Trainer regulates the air your body is taking in, forcing you to breathe deeply with your diaphragm - the correct way of breathing. This breathing works your lung and diaphragm muscles, making them stronger. It also strengthens your core and abdominal muscles.

The breathing device is based on a simple concept, limiting the air your body can inhale with removable filters. The smaller the air intake hole, the harder your body has to work.

The Bas Rutten O2 Trainer is made of sofy, fully biodegradable sillicon. It is small, compact and convenient. The device comes in a storage bin with multiple filters and a nose clip.

Correct breathing technique does not just affect your workouts but your general health and life. It reduces stress, strengthens your immune system as well as increases stamina.

The O2 Trainer is not just for athletes. The Elite Special Forces have been using the breathing trainer since its prototype. MMA fighters, musicians who play horns or wind instruments, opera singers, SCUBA divers and even yogis can benefit from the Bas Rutten O2 Trainer

Products to Help with Running

Marathon season is here and these are 5 products to make sure you get the most out of your next run.

Before the Run:

The Elgin Archxerciser Foot Exerciser is designed to help improve walking, running and jumping. It relieves sore feet and other foot pains by exercising your arches. The Archxercise rehabs as well as strengths your arches to improve your foot and ankle strength, agility and coordination.

During the Run:

The Superfeet Insoles are specifically engineered to support, stabilize, reduce stress on feet, ankles and knees. Each stride becomes more efficient, reducing fatigue. The non-prescription orthotics absorbs shock, provides bio-mechanical support and optimizes performance.

Monitoring your heart rate, how many calories are being burned and time ran would be extremely difficult if you run outside. The ePulse is the first wireless heart rate monitor and calorimeter. More information can be found in an earlier post here.

Using kinesiology tape during your run can decrease fatigue, increase blood flow and promote proper form. Even when you are tired, the tape reminds you to keep proper form for longer periods of time. Kinesiology taping lifts the skin away from the soft tissue to allow more oxygen to move to where it needs to be the most. The tape also helps during recovery, with its ability to help decrease swelling and accelerate blood flow.

After the Run:

A good massage tool like the Stick can do wonders for your sore, strained, exhausted muscles after a long run. It helps reduce lactic acid and just feels good. It will help with recovery time and getting you prepped for your next run!

Learn How to Naturally Relax

The Helicor StressEraser is a portable biofeedback device designed to teach you how to relax your body, naturally.

Used like a meditation aid, the science behind StressEraser is simple. It cues you when to breathe in and out, so your breathing synchronizes with your heart beat. Slowing down your breathing and heart rate lets your body relax.

Inside the StressEraser is an infrared sensor to measure your heart rate using your fingertip. Your heart rate then gets displayed on the screen as waves. Using those waves as a guide, you learn how to breath properly.

The longer you use StressEraser, the less you will need it. You will become more attuned to your body's natural ability to relax by just breathing. No drugs, no side affects, no stress.
